Our Little Way

Every time I watch Mary Poppins I wish so much I could snap my fingers and the mess would clean it self up...

The mess of toys, unkind words, bills, homework, laundry, etc.

Unfortunately that has not worked for me yet...and as fall quickly arrives I have the urge to purge...simplify...clean...

And then I remember we are now a family if 7 ....there are 5 kiddos to care for and my hubby  needs some quality time as well...

So rather than a spoon full of sugar...what I need is Grace....she is much better than Mary Poppins...she points to the mess within...swirls around inside and cleans it up...and when a tornado or hurricane has wrecked my interior...then I find Grace in the Confessional...which I guess you could say is the ultimate cleaning machine....

I can organize, label, purge, and donate every week...and never be completely at peace...in is my interior that longs for something my surrounding cannot provide...

And as crazy as it may sound...if it weren't for these 5 hooligans, I mean treasures, that I have running around then I would definitley loose focus on the bigger picture...

So by the grace of God I go...into this world of mine...singing a song of praise and thanksgiving that admist the daily grind and seemingly non stop picking up, purging, cleaning, correcting etc. something greater is taking place within me and my family...Sanctity, which is much sweeter than sugar!
