Happy New Year!

Well for the first time ever Courtney and I passed out before the new year rang in! I guess we went out with a bang and a snooze with how packed our December was! What a great way to finish 2012.
We are heading home today to snow! And reminiscing about all the great memories of this past year as we begin to prepare for the Adventures of 2013.
Many thanks to each of you for the blessing you are to us! We love you much and will hold you in prayer in 2013.
Our families resolution is to spend more time as a family...
Praying :
the family rosary... Starting one decade at a time, going to adoration Wednesday nights for Pizza and Penance (confessions are on Wednesday night with adoration) and continuing our Act of Faith each morning in this year of faith.
Playing: family game night with all these new board games, camping with our new tent, reading great books together, and building/ creating with arts and crafts and tinker toys.
Thanking:
A year of gratitude for all the little and big things we are blessed with. We are starting a gratitude journal. We will each share at least one thing we are grateful for each day and put it in the journal... Trying to fill it up by the end if the year.

And finally my prayer is to learn as a family to get up when we fall and keep moving forward. Not striving for our own vision of perfection, but rather that which God has called is to. To love, to forgive, to thank, and to praise in all that we do!
