Give Thanks



This pumpkin came from our garden! Pretty proud!

 Today we had nothing that we HAD to do...it was such a great day to take on whatever the day brought and have lots of small surprises...

So we entered into Fall...before it flies by...starting the morning with Pumpkin scones...taking in the fall decor around the house...and helping dad to prep the yard for winter (or run around enjoying the day while he cleaned out the garage!)

As the kids were outside and I stayed in with the little man to cook Pumpkin Chili...I looked around and felt so thankful for the blessings of my family...and captured a few to share with you...

This pictures was a Christmas gift from my brother-in-law and sister-in-law...and if they only knew just how realistic it is...both the chaos...and the joy (we just have to insert one more now! )

It is the season for Pumpkin...pumpkin chai latte, pumpkin spiced coffee, and pumpkin for baking! All of the little pumpkin's and gourds in the bowl are from our local farm...the kids picked them out!

Although they have their tifts at time...they have much more fun playing together...wild adventures all day long!

Jeremiah is all about adventures...building...and creating...here he is building some kind of pully system.

 So as we prepare for what winter brings...I am so thankful for a weekend where we had to do nothing...but slow down long enough to enjoy the little things...
