If the shoe fits

A few years back Jeremiah received a pair of slippers that resembled a monster foot ( they have claw toes ) he was afraid of them...

This year Isaiah discovered them... And they are the favorite shoe/ boot of the season.

He always gets lots of complements on them... And questions

Are they dinosaurs? Monster? Dragon?

Today after chasing him diaperless through the house, cleaning up his potty mess, and sending him to his time out spot for terrorizing his older brother I waited for him to say to me " I'll eat you up!" ( Where the Wild Things Are).

And I realized that the boots he sports were never intended for Jeremiah our gentle giant...

In this case the shoe fits only Isaiah, our little wild thing...who brings out the wild thing on each of us at home...
